Westerhout was executive assistant to President Donald Trump from 2017 to 2019, and the Director of Oval Office Operations at the White House from February to August 2019.  Mark W. Scheeren co-founded Baldwin Research Institute, Inc. (BRI) and the Saint Jude Retreats, the first residential non-12 step model for drug and alcohol problems in America. As a BRI Research Fellow, he is the co-author of the revolutionary book, The Freedom Model For Addictions: Escape the Treatment And Recovery Trap.
